Hosting
Perhaps our area of greatest growth is web hosting. In a recent year, over 4 million dollars in e-commerce flowed through QBlue servers.
In a normal month, websites and applications on QBlue servers may receive more than 600,000 hits.
In one six-month period, 130,000 emails were sent or received by QBlue servers.
Many small development companies provide so-called "hosting." QBlue hosting is business-class. Our servers offer multiple levels of security, entry into the data center is not only restricted by proximity cards and access codes, but also controlled by biometric hand scanners. Outgoing connectivity straddles OC-3 SONET rings combining "ground floor" connectivity, speed, and redundancy over redundancy.
When a winter ice storm hit the RTP area in December 2002, many residents and businesses lost power for as long as 10 days. QBlue servers remained stable the entire time -- not even a blink.

QBlue's 900-page web site and online content manager for the Triangle MLS/Raleigh Regional Ass'n. of Realtors was chosen as one of eight top US sites by the National Association of Realtors.

Another way we're growing is by expanding our services and products.
Packaged Applications... In addition to our traditional custom development work, QBlue now offers semi-customized, packaged products such as our content manager, e-commerce storefront, and employee benefits manager.
Internet Connectivity ... If a client needs assistance with Internet connectivity, we can now help them. Through our partnership with Bandwidth.com (http://www.bandwidth.com) we can now help our clients with shopping, installing and troubleshooting everything from DSL to T1 lines to DS3 and beyond.
Marketing & Advertising... Through another partnership, QBlue can now help you look at your websites and applications holistically, considering them as part of your overall business strategy, assisting you with everything from logo development to full media campaigns.

Principles
Not every day is fun at our company, but we intend to maintain a balance between frankness and pleasantness, to be upbeat even when the hours grow long.
We aim to give our customers more than they bargained for. We are unapologetically profit-driven, but assert that gains originate with proper treatment of the customer. And this is to our advantage as well, because satisfied customers are the key to our long-term success. It is also true that not every customer is satisfiable.
We intend to become increasingly whole people in both our personal and professional lives. We believe in giving away a tenth of our earnings. We aim to live and work by biblical principles.
We acknowledge the great potential and great limitations of technology. We still believe competence, creativity and courage trump cleverness and code.
